Bitcoin's first major achievement is the invention of Blockchain technology. The second is that this groundbreaking technology was released freely, without patents or artificial limitations, and thus allowed other ideas to be built and expand on it. Due to the open nature of its software, many developers have been allowed to experiment with its code and modify it, resulting in the creation of a multitude of new digital coins that have made efforts to improve or even add functions such as faster transactions, greater anonymity, and more.
